LÜ Wenliang's Experience in Treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease of Spleen Deficiency and Damp-heat Type Based on"Treating the Middle Jiao as a Balance"

Abstract
Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)is one of the common digestive system diseases characterized by typical symptoms such as heartburn and reflux.Professor LV Wenliang believes that the pathogenesis of this disease is primarily characterized by damp-heat obstructing the middle Jiao,with spleen and stomach deficiency as the root cause,and liver stagnation and earth dampness as the secondary factors.This disease is caused by damp-heat,food accumulation,qi stagnation,phlegm-dampness obstruction in the middle Jiao,loss of the ascending and descending functions,imbalance in the middle Jiao,and the upward movement of turbid qi rebelling upwards into the esophagus.In terms of treatment,based on the principle of"treating the middle Jiao as a balance",the physiological characte-ristics of the mutual dependence and complemen-tarity of the spleen and stomach are always taken into account.The priority is to clear heat and eliminate dampness,with the modified formula of Lianpu Decoction(连朴饮).At the same time,it is combined with methods such as tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen,aiding digestion and eliminating food stagnation,soothing the liver and harmonizing the stomach,applying medicinals with both pungent and bitter flavors,cold and warm properties,attacking and tonifying simultaneously,and regulating the liver and stomach in harmony.One test case is attached.关键词
