中医药防治肌少症的关键问题、诊治优势与研究模式探索
Key Issues,Diagnosis-treatment Advantages,and Research Models of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Preventing and Treating Sarcopenia

Abstract
Sarcopenia is an age-related geriatric syndrome that severely impairs the quality of life and physical and mental health of the elderly.Modern medicine faces multiple bottlenecks in drug development and disease prevention and control,while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),guided by the concepts of"holistic view""syndrome differentiation and treatment",and"preventive therapy",has shown unique advantages in the clinical prevention and treatment of sarcopenia.However,unclear mechanisms of ac-tion,lack of standardized research,and insufficient translation of findings have limited its clinical application.Muscle and bone do not operate independently but form a"community of destiny"through anatomical connections,physiological synergy,and pathologi-cal interactions.The concept of"muscle-bone coordinated treatment"should be applied throughout the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia.Within the strategic context of bone health,this paper explores TCM research models for sarcopenia,including integra-ting the holistic perspective of TCM with modern precision medicine,constructing risk prediction models combining disease and syndrome,exploring multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment models of TCM and Western medicine,and screening potential disease-syndrome biomarkers.Modern technologies such as systems pharmacology,artificial intelligence,and organoid models are employed to analyze the mechanisms of TCM efficacy and optimize intervention strategies.This full-chain innovative ap-proach,from theoretical integration to technological empowerment,aims to transform the"empirical wisdom"of TCM into quantifi-able scientific evidence and to provide a solution with Chinese characteristics—"precise,intelligent,collaborative,and systemat-ic"—for whole-cycle management of sarcopenia,thereby supporting the implementation of healthy aging strategies.关键词
