Harmony between humanity and nature:Chinese modernization transcends logic of capital from ecological perspective
摘要
Abstract
Western modernization,driven by the logic of capital accumulation,adopts an instrumentalist attitude towards nature.In the process of one-way resource extraction and the instrumentalization of development,it has exceeded the ecological threshold of society,leading to the disruption of the structure and function of the ecosystem.In the face of the ecological crisis,Western ecological civilization concepts such as ecocentrism and ecological Marxism have emerged.To a certain extent,they have improved social ecological systems and concepts,but they have never been able to transcend the institutional framework of capitalist relations of production,showing characteristics of incompleteness.The ecological lessons from Western modernization have prompted China to explore a Chinese modernization path that pursues both social progress and ecological justice.By inheriting and carrying forward the ecological wisdom from fine traditional Chinese culture,the Marxist ecological view,and the ecological civilization theory formed during China's socialist construction,a governance framework of the modernization of harmony between humanity and nature has been proposed and continuously refined in practice.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to ecological conservation,unswervingly followed the path of ecological priority and green development,and promoted the establishment of a community of life where humanity and nature are interdependent,a development community where the economy and the environment advance in tandem,and a community with a shared future for mankind where the world work hand in hand.This new form of civilization not only transcends the logic of capital from an ecological perspective,but also strengthens the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind,providing a brand-new paradigm for global environmental governance.关键词
