Differentiation and Treatment Strategies for Colorectal Cancer-depression Comorbidity Based on Brain-gut Co-regulation Theory
摘要
Abstract
The"brain-gut co-regulation"theory is a therapeutic concept and approach based on the holistic view and Zang-fu or-gan theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),combined with modern brain-gut axis research.It is used to treat comorbidities of the nervous and digestive systems caused by dysregulation of brain-gut interactions.The core pathogenesis of colorectal cancer-de-pression comorbidity involves the mutual influence between the"emotional brain"and the"gastrointestinal Fu-organs",resulting in dysfunction of the brain-gut pivot,accumulation of stasis and toxins,and disturbance of mental activity.Depression arises from canc-er and exacerbates its progression,while cancer induces depression,forming a vicious"cancer-depression-disease"cycle.This ulti-mately leads to disrupted nourishment of the brain and gut,with pathological interactions in which intestinal disease affects the brain and brain disease affects the intestine.关键词
