Abstract
The FeK and FeKCe composite oxide catalysts were prepared by wet granulation method.The promoting effects of CeO2 on ethylbenzene dehydrogenation were systematically investigated using in situ characterization techniques such as XRD,FTIR,and Raman spectroscopy.The experiment results reveal that the introduction of CeO2 substantially improves the ethylbenzene dehydrogenation activity of the catalyst but diminishes the selectivity for styrene formation.CeO2 not only suppresses potassium migration and facilitates the formation of the KFeO2 active phase,but also significantly promotes the ethylbenzene dehydrogenation reaction,and greatly shortens the induction period of the FeKCe catalyst.The main adsorbed surface species on the catalyst in the reaction is produced styrene.CeO2 modification promotes styrene generation in the presence of the FeKCe catalyst.关键词
