中医药治疗人类免疫缺陷病毒/艾滋病的作用机制研究
Mechanisms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of HIV/AIDS

Abstract
Long-term clinical practice has demonstrated that traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has unique advantages in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS).By suppressing bio-markers of abnormal immune activation and regulating the activation status of immune cell subsets,TCM has shown distinct advan-tages in treating AIDS patients at different stages of disease progression,including the asymptomatic stage,the chronic infection stage,and patients with poor immune reconstitution,particularly exhibiting potential synergistic and additive effects when combined with antiretroviral therapy(ART).TCM can improve the immunosuppressive state of patients with HIV/AIDS and,to a certain ex-tent,stabilize immune balance.Under the guidance of syndrome differentiation-based treatment and holistic concepts,TCM regulates immune function in an integrated manner in patients with HIV/AIDS,thereby exerting antiviral effects.TCM may promote the gen-eration and maturation of T cells,influence the proliferation and differentiation of T-cell subsets,and regulate T-cell apoptosis and pyroptosis,forming a multistep,multilevel,and multitarget regulatory network for T cells in vivo,thereby enhancing immune function and delaying disease progression in patients with HIV/AIDS.关键词
