TCM Regulates Pancreatic Cancer Invasion and Metastasis Based on Signaling Pathways:A Review
摘要
Abstract
Pancreatic cancer(PC)is a severe type of digestive system malignancy characterized by a high degree of malignancy and rapid progression.Therefore,it is referred to as the"king of cancers"in the medical field.The etiology of PC is complex,and its growth and dissemination are accompanied by aberrant activation of multiple signaling pathways.Conventional chemoradiotherapy exhibits limited efficacy and is associated with substantial toxic side effects.Therefore,the search for novel,efficient,and low-toxici-ty targeted agents is of critical importance for PC treatment.In recent years,the therapeutic potential of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has become increasingly evident,particularly its precise regulatory effects on classical signaling pathways,including the mi-togen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK/STAT),and phosphati-dylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/AKT)pathways.A large body of experimental and clinical evidence indicates that Chi-nese medicines containing alkaloids,terpenoids,phenols,and flavonoids can inhibit the malignant progression of PC by suppressing tumor growth,triggering programmed cell death,and blocking aberrant signal transduction.关键词
