Research progress on measurement of soil nitrous oxide flux using the static chamber method
摘要
Abstract
Nitrous oxide(N2O)is one of the most important anthropogenic greenhouse gases contributing to global warming.Accurately assessing its emissions and influencing factors is crucial for mitigating climate change and achieving carbon neutrality.The static chamber method,known for its low cost,high accuracy,and broad applica-bility,is the most widely used approach for measuring soil N2O emissions.However,factors such as the materials and shape of the chamber,installation methods,sample collection and analysis,data processing,and statistical analysis would directly affect the accuracy and precision of N2O measurements.Most studies fail to adopt scientifi-cally sound and context-appropriate monitoring protocols,and with problems in the selection of analytical methods.We reviewed the literature on the use of static chamber method for N2O measurement,summarized and compared common practices and key steps in chamber design,sample processing,flux calculation,and data statistics,aiming to provide a reference for standardizing the method and obtaining more reliable and objective N2O emission data in future research.关键词
