Abstract

This study focused on the regeneration of a waste selective catalytic reduction denitration catalyst from a refinery's catalytic cracking unit after four years of operation.The regeneration process included dust blowing,ultrasonic water washing,and acid washing.The characterization of the fresh,waste,and regenerated catalysts was performed using XRD,N2 adsorption-desorption,XRF,and NH3-TPD techniques.Their denitration performance was evaluated using a laboratory microreactor system.The results indicate that pore blockage,reduction of acidic sites,and loss of active components are the primary causes of catalyst deactivation.After dust blowing and ultrasonic water washing,acid washing with 0.8 mol/L H2SO4 yields the best regeneration.The regenerated catalyst exhibits a broadened operating temperature window 290-380℃compared to the waste one 290-310℃.NO conversion exceeds 95%,and it demonstrates excellent sulfur resistance.
