International Dissemination of Traditional Chinese Medicine:Historical Characteristics,Impacts and Implications
摘要
Abstract
Since the Qin and Han dynasties,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has begun to spread to neighboring countries of China.Up to now,TCM has been disseminated to more than 190 countries and regions around the world.The international dissemination of TCM,which has lasted for thousands of years,presents historical development characteristics such as diversified dissemination channels,systematized and standardized dissemination content,expanded dissemination regions,and gradually optimized dissemination effects.The international dissemination of TCM has exerted profound impacts on TCM itself as well as foreign medical systems such as Arabian medicine and Western medicine.A systematic review of the history of TCM's international dissemination can provide profound historical implications and practical references for the current construction of TCM cultural identity,guarantee of efficacy and safety,translation standardization for TCM language,formulation of relevant laws and regulations,improvement of international cooperation mechanisms,and the innovative development of TCM.关键词
