Research Progress on Carbon Footprint Accounting and Emission Reduction Technologies Throughout the Life Cycle of Protected Horticulture

Abstract
Protected horticulture occupies a core position in the modern agricultural industrial system,and life cycle-based carbon footprint accounting is a pivotal quantitative tool for evaluating the carbon reduction potential of protected horticulture systems and enhancing their green and low-carbon development level.This paper systematically reviewed domestic and international research progress in carbon footprint accounting methods for protected horticulture.Focusing on aspects such as system boundaries,functional units,carbon emission factor databases,and accounting methods,it analyzed the technical framework based on life cycle assessment(LCA).Furthermore,it proposed multidimensional carbon reduction technology pathways for the construction,production and energy sectors of facility horticulture.Meanwhile,based on an analysis of current practical issues such as the lack of uniformity in carbon footprint accounting systems,fragmented research on emission reduction strategies,and insufficient integration of traditional and smart technologies,prospects were offered regarding the development trends of carbon footprint accounting systems,integrated emission reduction pathways and the integration of smart technologies,aiming to provide a scientific basis for the green,low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of protected horticulture.关键词
