Abstract

Sparse inversion of the magnetic anomaly modulus is an effective approach for generating high-resolution remanent mag-netization models by essentially minimizing the L0 norm of the model.However,direct computation of the L0 norm is challenging,and traditional methods typically approximate it using convex surrogate functions.Although this enables stable gradient-based opti-mization,it makes effective control of the inverted model volume difficult.This paper proposes a magnetic anomaly modulus inver-sion optimization framework that integrates data misfit,model constraints,and explicit L0 norm constraints.An iterative hard thresholding approach is employed to achieve stable iterative estimation of the L0 norm,allowing for clear delineation of inversion model boundaries under strong remanent magnetization conditions while effectively controlling model scale.The effectiveness and stability of the proposed method are verified through theoretical model experiments.The method is further applied to the Yeshan ar-ea in Jiangsu Province,where a magnetic model of the mineralized body is constructed,providing scientific support for deep miner-al exploration.The results demonstrate that this method ensures accurate data fitting and achieves asymptotically linear convergence of model scale,yielding a well-defined remanent magnetization inversion model of the target volume.
