Abstract
The application of tuned mass damper(TMD)in engineering applications is often limited by the requirement of large tuned mass and installation space.To address this issue,this study ex-plores the lightweight advantages of the tuned mass inerter system(TMIS)in vibration control and proposes its application for floor comfort control.Through theoretical analysis,the mean square ex-pression of the acceleration response of a single-degree-of-freedom structure equipped with a TMIS un-der human-induced excitation is derived,and corresponding performance evaluation metrics are estab-lished.The influence of various design parameter of the TMIS on vibration reduction effectiveness is systematically investigated,and the validity of the lightweight vibration control design method is veri-fied via numerical examples.Additionally,SAP2000 is employed to model the floor,and the vibration control performance of the TMIS is compared with that of a TMD.The results show that,compared to TMD,the TMIS not only achieves equivalent vibration control performance but also significantly re-duces the required tuned mass,effectively realizing the lightweight design objective,providing a more practical and valuable technical solution for enhancing floor comfort.关键词
