Application of Digital and Intelligent Technology in Home-Based Rehabilitation for Patients with Parkinson's Disease:a Scoping Review

Abstract
Objective To summarize the application of digital and intelligent technologies in home-based rehabilitation for patients with Parkinson's disease(PD)by scoping review research method,in order to provide evidence for optimizing the home-based rehabilitation model for PD patients.Methods This study follows the PCC framework of the Joanna Briggs Institute to identify research questions.Computer systems were used to search for studies on the application of digital and intelligent technologies in home-based rehabilitation for patients with PD in Web of Science,PubMed,Embase,CINAHL,Cochrane Library,Medline,Google Scholar,China Biomedical Literature Service System,CNKI,VIP,and Wanfang Data.The search covered the period from the establishment of the databases to February 2025.Two researchers screened the literature,extracted,and summarized the content.Results Ultimately,15 articles were included.There were primarily four types of digital and intelligent technologies applied in the home-based rehabilitation for PD patients,namely virtual reality technology,wearable devices,applications,and remote rehabilitation systems.The main rehabilitation contents of digital and intelligent technologies in the home-based rehabilitation for PD patients included motor function and balance function rehabilitation,psychological rehabilitation,and cognitive function rehabilitation.Conclusion The application of digital and intelligent technologies in the home-based rehabilitation for PD patients demonstrates diversified development,with rehabilitation contents evolving from a single"motor training"to a comprehensive"motor-cognitive-psychological"training.Digital and intelligent technologies facilitate the linkage among"patients-families-multidisciplinary teams",but they also have certain limitations.关键词
