Abstract
[Objective/Meaning]Food security is the strategic cornerstone of national development and also a top priority for the country.Food security serves as the strategic cornerstone of national development and also constitutes a top-tier national priority.By exploring the practical predicaments confronting grain production in Fujian,and proposing targeted upgrading paths and countermeasures,this paper is intended to provide decision-making references for Fujian to steadily improve its grain production capacity and construct a sound regional food security guarantee system.[Methods/Procedures]Based on the holistic perspective and combined with the micro data of grain production,the development and changes of grain production in Fujian Province were systematically sorted out,and its advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.Then,the countermeasures and suggestions for tapping the potential of grain development and improving the capacity of grain security were put forward.[Results/Conclusions]The results showed that the overall grain production in Fujian Province has maintained a steady progress trend,but there were still prominent problems such as severe constraints of cultivated land resources,small scale of production and operation,insufficient investment in science and technology,and low comparative benefits of grain.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures were put forward from the aspects of optimizing the policy support system,production and operation system,scientific and technological support system,and strengthening the protection of cultivated land.关键词
