Abstract
The mechanical response of a box girder structure generally exhibits significant nonlinear characteristics when subjec-ted to non-uniform loads,torsion,bending moments and combined bending-torsion loads.However,in engineering calculations,most models still adopt linear constitutive relationships to simplify the analysis process.To demonstrate the necessi-ty of selecting nonlinear constitutive relationships for accurate calculations,the research utilizes numerical simulation methods to compare the mechanical response characteristics of box girders under different constitutive relationships.The research re-sults indicate that under complex load conditions,the mechanical response of reinforced concrete box girder structures exhib-its nonlinear characteristics;the displacement trends of box girders differ significantly between nonlinear and linear constitutive relationships under the same load conditions.To ensure the safety of bridge construction,nonlinear constitutive relation-ships should be used for performance verification of box girder structures.关键词
