Numerical Solution for the Forward Problem of a Finite-layer Orthorhombic Crystals Based on Polarization Data

Abstract
For the structure of finite-layer orthorhombic crystals,the forward problem of optical polarization transmission is investigated.By establishing a matrix model for layered transmission,the polarization data of laser propagation is numerically solved for a given molecular dielectric tensor.The influence law of incident angle variations on the polarization data is systematically analyzed,with a particular focus on the dependence of the polarization data of transmitted light on the number of liquid crystal layers.Numerical results indicate that when the layering reaches a certain level of refinement,the solution converges,enabling the model to accurately replicate the propagation behavior of light in a continuous medium,thereby precisely characterizing the modulation effect of the internal structure of the liquid crystal on the polarization of transmitted light.Additionally,the influence of the dielectric tensor of a homogeneous medium on the polarization data is analyzed.关键词
