Abstract
As a highly influential folk kiln system in northern China,the unique"huazhuangtu"(glaze layer)technique of the Mizhou kiln is one of the core distinguishing features that set it apart from other kiln systems.This study focuses on the"huazhuangtu"technique of the Mizhou kiln,first clarifying the conceptual boundaries between individual kilns and kiln systems,and defining the radiating scope and formation logic of the Mizhou kiln system.Second,it delves into the technical connotations,characteristics,and functional value of the glaze layer,analyzing its role in the interaction between the taiti(body)and youceng(glaze layer).Finally,it systematically reviews five primary decorative techniques derived from the glaze layer,exploring the aesthetic qualities and folk kiln cultural attributes of Mizhou's intricate decoration art.The re-search demonstrates that the glaze layer is not only a technical solution to address the defects of Mizhou kiln body material but also the material foundation for the diversified development of its decorative art,collectively shaping the Mizhou kiln's significant position in the history of Chinese ceramics.关键词
