摘要

Abstract

To systematically understand the community characteristics of microorganisms and their car-bohydrate-active enzymes(CAZymes)in seagrass bed in Yongxing Island,metagenomic sequencing technology was used to analyze the composition and diversity of CAZyme genes in the seawater of the study area.The results showed that Alpha-proteobacteria,Gamma-proteobacteria,and Flavobacteriia were the dominant microbial groups in the seawater(account for about 65.5%of the total abundance)and the main contributors to CAZyme sequences(the overall contribution reaches 72.7%).CAZyme sequences exhibited distinct regional distribution patterns within the survey area,and significant differences were observed in the compositional characteristics of CAZyme sequences among different microbial communities.Most of the CAZyme sequences directly related to polysaccharide degradation were genes involved in the degradation of complex polysaccharides such as cellulose,hemicellulose,pectin,and peptidoglycan,this may be associated with the types of available substrates in the environ-ment.
