Abstract
Based on the unearthed Qin-Han bamboo slips from Yunmeng,filial piety in the Qin and Han Dynasties gradually transformed from family ethics to a component of national governance,which was reflected at varying degrees in legal texts,administrative records and folk writings.The principle of mutual concealment among relatives embodied in Legal Questions and Answers from the Shuihudi Qin Slips and the system of observing mourning for parents recorded in Zhiri from the Han Slips indicate that the Qin and Han Dynasties strived to construct an ethical system of the integration of family and state through legal strengthening and administrative assessment,transforming private morality into public morality.Against the backdrop of deepening aging,strengthening research on filial piety in the Qin-Han bamboo slips is of referential significance for promoting the creative transformation of filial piety culture and realizing China's governance.关键词
