The Glance of Parodies in Shun Pao and I-shih Pao Supplements from Late Qing Dynasty to the Early Years of the Republic of China
摘要
Abstract
In the Late Qing Dynasty,the parodies thrived which titles inset the words by Xi,Fang,Ni and Xiao,etc.in the newspapers.In the 1870s,the parodies in Shun Pao played a significant role in the eradication of national bad habits and the construction of modern life style.In the early years of the Republic of China,the parodies in I-shih Pao especially focused on political and social affairs inside and outside of China.The parodies in Shun Pao and I-shih Pao proves to be humorous which conform to the essence according to Classic of Poetry.The new intellectual elites chose the parodies with mimicry to express on one hand,which surprised the readers by the destressing the tension and on the other hand,the use of parodies could reduce the literary inquisition risks.Furthermore,the strategy could attain the goal with admonitions.关键词
