Abstract
Objective To study the effect of analytic hierarchy process on improving the efficiency and accuracy of medical record management for inpatients in Otolaryngology Department.Methods From August 1,2023 to January 31,2024,312 medical records of Otolaryngology Department inpatients in a tertiary hospital were managed by analytic hierarchy process and defined as the study group.In addition,310 medical records not managed by analytic hierarchy process from February 1 to July 31,2023 were used as the control group.The efficiency,accuracy,modification rate,quality score,defects and grades of medical records management were compared between the two groups.Results The collection time and archiving time of medical records in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the proportion of non-archiving in 72 h was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The accuracy of medical record filing in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the modification rate was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of medical record home page,course record and auxiliary examination in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The proportions of inaccurate main diagnosis,inaccurate or missing other diagnosis,mismatch between main diagnosis and main operation,inaccurate operation filling,missing operation filling,inaccurate recording of the medical intervention and missing procedural information in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The proportion of grade A in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the proportion of grade B was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The analytic hierarchy process can improve the efficiency of medical record management of Otolaryngology Department inpatients,shorten the time of medical record collection and archiving,improve the quality of medical record management,reduce the incidence of medical record defects,promote the improvement of the overall level of medical records,and have good management effect.关键词
