From Tacit to Explicit:A New Inquiry into Lu Xun's Translation and Writing in Zhejiang Tide

Abstract
In consideration of the theoretical framework of tacit knowledge,this study examines Lu Xun's translations and writings published in Zhejiang Tide,with the objective of elucidating the processes through which his tacit knowledge was transformed into explicit knowledge.A comprehensive analysis of the elements involved in this transformation indicates that Lu Xun,as the cognitive subject,underwent a continuous accumulation of tacit knowledge through his academic pursuits.The socio-structural transformations of the late Qing dynasty provided the cognitive context that stimulated his profound reflections on national and societal change.It is evident that Zhejiang Tide functioned as a pivotal knowledge medium,thereby facilitating the transformation of his tacit knowledge into explicit articulation.This medium also played a pivotal role in shaping his knowledge production process,a process that was characterized by the symbiosis of translation and writing.By constructing a"tacit-explicit knowledge transformation model"and combining it with close textual analysis,this study summarizes the transformation pathways as"translation-stimulated writing with adaptive synthesis and aesthetic-driven composition by intellectual guidance."Through his creative practice in translation and writing,Lu Xun activated and synthesized both local and foreign experiences embedded in his tacit knowledge,thereby forging a new path of knowledge production that was both historically significant and distinctly personal.关键词
