LigaSure Hemorrhoidectomy for Treatment of Mixed Hemorrhoids:A Randomized Controlled Study

Abstract
Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of LigaSure hemorrhoidectomy in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids.Methods A total of 140 patients with mixed hemorrhoids were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 70 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with LigaSure hemorrhoidectomy,while the control group was treated with external dissection and internal ligation.The clinical efficacy,operation time,intraoperative blood loss,pain scores at different postoperative time points,wound healing time and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results There were no statistically significant differences in the total clinical effective rate and postoperative complica‐tions between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time and wound healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The pain scores of the observation group at 24 h,48 h,7 d and 14 d after sur‐gery were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion LigaSure hemorrhoidectomy can significantly alleviate postoperative pain and shorten wound healing time with good safety and efficacy.How‐ever,it is prone to closure band cracking,and cannot completely avoid postoperative complications such as edema and bleeding.关键词
