摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the suturing technique utilized in primary implant-based breast augmentation via the inframammary fold approach. Methods Ninety-eight patients who underwent primary breast augmentation via inframammary fold approach and were treated at the hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Based on the selected implant volume, patients were divided into two groups:Group A(300 cc or less,n=65)and Group B(more than 300 cc,n=33).All patients underwent a four-layer closure technique for the inframammary fold incision.Postoperative outcomes were evaluated using the Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)for scar assessment, patient satisfaction with aesthetic outcomes, and complication rates. Results The postoperative scars of the two groups were slight, and the satisfaction of patients with breast aesthetic effect was more than 90%.Two patients in group A and 1 patient in group B had implants downward displacement, and the implants downward displacement in the two groups was not more than 5 mm,and no reoperation was performed. There was no significant difference in scar score, satisfaction with breast aesthetic effect, and complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The four-layer suturing technique for inframammary fold incisions is applicable to implants of various volumes. It enhances support for the inframammary fold, reduces the risk of downward implant displacement, stabilizes the scar at the intended new inframammary fold position, and the scar appearance is good, which is worthy of clinical recommendation.关键词
