Abstract
The construction of humanities and social science research institutions serves as a strategic initiative in strengthening the development of think tanks and promoting the prosperity of humanities and social sciences.As a part of the scientific research system in agricultural universities,the university-level research institutions in humanities and social science have played an essential role by leveraging the strengths and distinctive features of agricultural disciplines.These institutions also contribute significantly to integrating disciplinary resources,cultivating research teams and serving local rural development.Based on organizational development theory,this article conducted an empirical investigation on 13 institutions and analyzed using a three-dimensional analytical framework of"structure-institution-dynamics".The findings reveal some systemic challenges including structural discrepancies between institutional design and operational implementation,ineffective incentive mechanisms,systemic dilemmas of resource-benefit transmission blockages and so forth.To address these issues above,the research proposed a coordinated development pathway integrating differentiated development,management system innovation and capacity reengineering.Specific implementation strategies include establishing differentiated institutional configurations,dual-track resource provisioning with dynamic management protocols and so on.These measures aim to revitalize institutional vitality while providing empirical references for resolving operational challenges involved.关键词
