数字普惠金融对农业碳全要素生产率影响的因果效应
Causal effect of digital inclusive finance on agricultural carbon total factor productivity

Abstract
Against the backdrop of global climate change and China's"dual carbon"goals,improving agricultural carbon total factor productivity(CTFP)is of strategic significance for achieving high-quality and sustainable agricultural development.This study em-ployed China's provincial panel data from 2011 to 2021,measuring agricultural CTFP and,based on the theory of induced technologi-cal change,applied a continuous difference-in-differences model to empirically analyze the impact of digital inclusive finance on agri-cultural CTFP and its mechanisms.The findings revealed that:① Agricultural CTFP exhibited an overall upward trend,fluctuating through three phases:growth,decline,and renewed growth.Spatially,it followed a descending pattern of"central>eastern>western re-gions,"with interregional gaps gradually narrowing.② Digital inclusive finance significantly enhanced agricultural CTFP(regression coefficient:0.258).Among its three dimensions,coverage breadth contributed the most,followed by usage depth,while digitization level showed no significant effect.③ Mechanism analysis confirmed that digital inclusive finance elevated agricultural CTFP by optimizing production factor inputs,primarily through capital-for-labor substitution;energy input played no significant role.④ Heterogeneity re-sults indicated regional disparities:the effect was most pronounced in grain-dominant,low-slope,and arable-land-abundant regions but insignificant in grain-dominant,high-slope,and arable-land-abundant regions,as well as in arable-land-scarce regions with poor grain production resources.Thus,policymakers should prioritize expanding coverage breadth and deepening usage depth of digital inclusive finance while tailoring its spatial distribution to regional agricultural features and natural endowments.Emphasis should be placed on enhancing digital infrastructure and financial accessibility,particularly in grain-dominant,low-slope,and arable-land-abundant re-gions,to propel agriculture's green transition.关键词
