Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy,skin tolerance and satisfaction of medical dressing with hyaluronic acid or human-like collagen as main components for erythematoedema and discomfort after intensed pulsed light therapy.Methods From May 2022 to May 2023,32 subjects were recruited using a randomized,contralateral facial comparison method.After intense pulsed light(IPL)treatment,subjects were assigned to apply hyaluronic acid medical patch on one side of the face and human-like collagen patch on the other side based on random numbers.VISIA images were captured,facial erythema values were measured,and subjective evaluations by researchers and subjects were conducted,along with adverse reaction assessments,at three time points:before IPL treatment,immediately after treatment,and 30 minutes after applying the patches.Results Application with hyaluronic acid or human-like collagen dressing after IPL treatment,the erythema values immediately decreased,and the discomfort symptoms such as edema,pain and tightness were improved(P＜0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the two sides of the above indicators(P＞0.05).No discomfort symptoms such as itching,burning and pain occurred on both sides of all patients,suggesting that the two dressings were well tolerated.Participants' satisfaction with the soothing effects of both dressings and their willingness to continue using both dressings exceeded 80％.Conclusions The dressing with hyaluronic acid or human-like collagen as the core component are contribute to relieve immediate erythema after intense pulse light treatment,alleviating postoperative edema,pain,tightness,and both are well tolerated and safe.关键词
