大丽花茎秆易折的形态和生理机制研究
Investigating the Morphological and Physiological Mechanisms Responsible for Stem Brittleness in Dahlia

Abstract
Taking the dahlia varieties'Ferncilff Illusion'and'Pinelands Princess'as experimental materials,the stems morphological characteristics and cell wall chemical components at different developmental stages were investigated through solar greenhouse cultivation,and the key indexes affecting the bending resistance of dahlia stems were explored,in order to provide reference for improving the strength of dahlia stems.The results showed that the bending resistance of'Ferncilff Illusion'was significantly higher than that of'Pinelands Princess'at three developmental stages(P<0.01).'Ferncilff Illusion'had thicker stems,shorter internodes,greater stem wall thickness,larger vascular bundle area and higher contents of lignin and cellulose,while lower contents of soluble pectin conten than that of'Pinelands Princess'.In conclusion,stem morphological characteristics(such as stem diameter,internode length,stem wall thickness and vascular bundle structure)and cell wall components(such as lignin,cellulose and soluble pectin content)were important factors affecting the bending resistance of dahlia stem.关键词
