摘要

Abstract

The inland regions of Northwest China are characterized by abundant wind energy resources,sup-porting extensive energy-related infrastructures.However,conventional approaches predominantly rely on fixed monitoring devices and lack high resolution.To address these issues,the study utilized a vehicular mo-bile observation system equipped with a Doppler wind lidar and an aperture radar for comprehensive wind fields and structure effect observation.The synchronized measurements of wind profiles,wake flows,and vi-brations of the structure including wind turbines and cooling towers at five wind farms and two thermal power plants were conducted in Northwest China in 2025.The device has high temporal and spatial resolution as well as strong adaptability to extreme environmental conditions.The observation results indicate that specific wind profile patterns exist in Northwest China,where the surface roughness exponent ranges between 0.130 and 0.323.Moreover,the wake effects generated by wind turbines extend up to six times the rotor diameter,and the downstream wind speed recovery ratio decreases as the power output of the wind turbine increases.The measured natural frequencies of wind turbine towers and steel-framed cooling towers are consistently within the range of 0.20 to 0.23 Hz.Furthermore,vibration amplitudes at all critical monitoring points on the cool-ing towers present spatially complex distribution characteristics.This study provides empirical support for the optimization of wind farm layouts and the structural safety assessment of energy-related infrastructures in the inland regions of Northwest China.
