Rapid assessment method for seismic resilience of road and bridge networks based on damage probability-network passability mapping model

Abstract
To address the challenge of quantitatively evaluating the seismic performance of road network-level bridges,a multi-scale analysis framework was proposed to realize systematic assessment from individual bridge damage to seismic performance of transportation networks.Firstly,a structural nonlinear finite element model was established,and the capacity spectrum method was employed to rapidly assess the seismic fragility of an individual bridge.Then,based on the topological structure of regional transportation networks,a proba-bilistic mapping model was developed between the damage probability of the individual bridge and the traffic performance of paths.The path traffic probabilities were quantitatively calculated and ranked to identify the op-timal traffic path.The network accessibility was also quantitatively analyzed to complete the comprehensive evaluation of the overall seismic performance of transportation networks.The verification results of the bridge network case study show that the proposed method can accurately identify the key vulnerable road segments in transportation networks.Additionally,it determines the optimal traffic route for Node 1 to Node 9 as 1→3→5→10→9,and possesses the capabilities of scientifically prioritizing pre-disaster reinforcement and dynami-cally optimizing post-disaster emergency traffic routes.This method provides support for the functional mainte-nance capability and rapid recovery potential of bridge networks under earthquake action,and also offers a reli-able decision-making basis for improving the seismic resilience of transportation networks.关键词
