Abstract

The magnetic driven centrifugal pump for radioactive waste liquid plays a crucial role in the three-waste treatment system of a certain research reactor.During the on load commissioning process,abnormal situations such as large pump body vibration,bearing damage and insulation sleeve burning,seriously affect the progress of commissioning and system verification.Based on factors such as pump body structure,foreign objects,process flow,and operational practices,the main influencing factors causing abnormal vibration and bearing damage have been identified.During the reassembly process,strict control was exercised over the radial clearance value between the impeller and pump inlet rings,as well as the axial displacement of the shaft.The pressure gauge was disassembled for temporary emptying,and multiple manual turning measures were taken to fully fill and exhaust the pipeline,ultimately effectively eliminating problems such as abnormal pump body vibration.The handling of abnormal issues in this case has high reference significance for the on load commissioning and long-term operation of other similar magnetic driven centrifugal pumps.
