Abstract
Water resource allocation projects and diversion-type hydropower stations,while playing significant roles,create water-reduced reaches that adversely affect river biological habitats.By analyzing issues in the water-reduced reach of the Jinping Grand River Bend—such as altered hydrological regimes,changes in downstream water temperature,insufficient drift range for drifting fish eggs,and damage from human activities—the current status of aquatic habitats was assessed.Based on existing habitat problems,non-engineering measures such as ecological flow discharge,ecological scheduling,stratified water intake,fishery management,fish habitat conservation zone construction,and monitoring and evaluation were proposed.Additionally,engineering measures including ecological spur dikes,restoration of spawning grounds and river cross-sections,and longitudinal connectivity restoration were suggested.These provide a basis for protecting and restoring the river ecosystem in the water-reduced reach of the Grand River Bend.关键词
