《金匮要略》四种情志疾病证治探析
An Analysis of Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment for Four Types of Emotional Diseases in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber

Abstract
Zhang Zhongjing classified emotional diseases into two categories:deficiency syndromes and excess syndromes.Lily disease and hysteria are often caused by visceral deficiency and belong to deficiency syndromes,with treatment emphasizing reinforcing healthy qi and supplementing deficiency.The core pathogenesis of lily disease lies in"the hundred vessels sharing one origin,all leading to ill-ness,"highlighting the central role of heart and lung dysfunction in its onset.The primary formula for treatment is Lily Bulb and Reh-mannia Decoction.Hysteria is characterized by heart-spleen deficiency,with Licorice and Wheat and Jujube Decoction being the main formula for treatment.Although both lily disease and hysteria are emotional disorders,they differ in disease location(the former primari-ly affects the heart and lungs,while the latter emphasizes the heart and spleen).Their symptom features also vary(lily disease is domi-nated by somatic symptoms,whereas hysteria is marked by emotional disturbances).Notably,both formulas utilize medicinal foods such as Baihi(Bulbus Lilii),Xiaomai(Fructus Tritici),Dazao(Fructus Jujubae),etc.,which have mild properties and are expertly formula-ted,making them particularly suitable for the long-term management required in emotional disorders.Plum-stone qi and running piglet syndrome arise from disorder of qi movement and belong to excess patterns,with treatment focusing on regulating qi and suppressing up-ward perversion of qi.The pathogenesis of plum-stone qi involves emotional stagnation leading to liver depression and qi stagnation,im-paired fluid movement,and phlegm congelation in the throat,closely associated with dysfunction of the liver,spleen,and lungs,etc.,so Pinellia and Magnolia Bark Decoction is often used for treatment.The key mechanism of running piglet syndrome is the counterflow of qi,so Running Piglet Decoction can be employed to nourish blood,calm the liver,and suppress upward perversion of qi to harmonize the stomach.关键词
