Abstract
The theory of the triple energizer,originating from Huangdi Internal Classic,is an essential component of the visceral manifes-tation theory in TCM.Its functions include promoting the circulation of primordial qi,transporting body fluids,and distributing essential nutrients.It serves as both the pathway for the ascent,descent,entry,and exit of qi,blood,and body fluids,and the pivotal link intercon-necting the functions of the zang-fu organs.Poria and Alisma Rhizome Decoction recorded in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,exempli-fies the application of the theory of the triple energizer.With its precise composition,the formula achieves holistic regulation by"strengthening the spleen and draining dampness in the middle and upper energizers,promoting diuresis and discharging turbidity in the lower energizer,and warming yang to activate qi throughout the triple energizer."With its precise composition,the formula achieves ho-listic regulation by"strengthening the spleen and draining dampness in the middle and upper energizers,promoting diuresis and dis-charging turbidity in the lower energizer,and warming yang to activate qi throughout the triple energizer."This directly targets the core pathological mechanism of"dysfunction of qi transformation of the triple energizer-accumulation of dampness and phlegm and turbidity-disorders of glucose and lipid metabolism."As a representative classical formula for restoring the free regulation of the triple energizer and addressing both the root and symptoms of glucose and lipid metabolism disorders,its key intervention target lies in rebuilding the qi transformation function of the triple energizer,dispersing and eliminating accumulated dampness and turbidity,ultimately leading to the balanced distribution of fluids,normalization of essential nutrients,and restoration of metabolism.关键词
