The Practical Path to Generative AI Empowering Foreign Language Learning
摘要
Abstract
Artificial intelligence develops rapidly and changes dramatically,and is now in wide use in different domains.Lan-guage intelligence,an important component of artificial intelligence focusing on language information processing,plays a remark-able role in foreign language learning.This paper explores how generative artificial intelligence(GenAI)empowers foreign language learning.GenAI can effectively monitor learners'learning process,empower the input and output of language learning,and reduce learners'affective filter.Empowering the foreign language learning experience,it designates personalized learning objectives,tracks learning behavior,assesses learning outcomes,and delivers real-time feedback tailored to students'individual personality traits,learning styles and habits,thereby enabling precise and adaptive tutoring.Furthermore,it empowers evaluation of foreign language learning,and language intelligence functions as learners'bosom friend and learning companion.关键词
