摘要

Abstract

To explore high-yield and high-quality cultivation techniques for oilseed flax(Linum usitatissimum L.)in the arid and semi-arid regions of northwest China,a two-factor randomized block field experiment was conducted.This study analyzed the differences in seed filling characteristics,yield,and quality among different flax varieties under varying plant-ing densities.The results showed that the number of stems,branches,seeds per boll,and seed weight per plant all de-creased with increasing planting density.The 1 000-seed weight was the main contributing factor to seed yield formation.Compared with the density treatment of 3.0×106 plants per hectare(D1),the treatment with 5.4×106 plants per hectare(D3)exhibited a 3.20%higher 1 000-seed weight and a 7.83%higher seed yield.This was attributed to the higher planting density enhancing the average seed filling rate and the maximum filling rate after flowering.The contents of linoleic acid and linolenic acid gradually increased with higher planting density,improving seed quality.Under the experimental conditions,the variety Jinya 10 showed ad-vantages in seed filling,but its small seed sink capacity was a limiting factor.In contrast,the varieties Dingya 23 and Lunxuan 3 demonstrated greater potential for yield increase under higher planting densities.
