Abstract
This paper takes the old East Boston community as an example to explore the application of Folding Theory and surface deformation in community theater design.By creating continuously variable geometric prototypes and applying parametric folding strategies,the design achieves integrated functions of performance,leisure,and social interaction within a limited site.This approach not only optimizes spatial organization and functional layout,but also enhances the openness and interactivity of public spaces,bringing new cultural vitality to aging communities.关键词
