A Study on the Exterior Design of Bridges at Ronghu Lake and Shanhu Lake in Guilin from the Perspective of Local Adaptation

Abstract
This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the design concept of"local adaptation"upheld in the exterior design of bridges within the Ronghu Lake and Shanhu Lake scenic area of Guilin.It offers a reference for addressing prevalent issues in modern bridge design,such as severe homogenization of appearance and a lack of regional characteristics.Employing research methods including field investigation,typological analysis,and text mining,this study conducts a categorized examination of the bridges in this area.The ROST software is used to perform high-frequency word statistical analysis on two bodies of literature related to Guilin,aiming to clarify the focus of academic research.Through analysis,the concept of"local adaptation"in this area is distilled into four core design principles.Furthermore,a theoretical framework for the exterior design of regional landscape bridges is constructed,encompassing four dimensions:"site context,""scenic harmony,""cultural expression,"and"material utilization."This framework holds certain referential value for enhancing the sustainability of urban landscapes and strengthening cultural identity.关键词
