Dynamical manipulation of optical non-reciprocal reflection based on spontaneously generated coherence

Abstract
Optical non-reciprocity is the core technology to realize novel photonic devices such as all-optical diodes and chip isolators.These devices are easy to integrate due to their high efficiency and stability,especially in quantum computing and information processing.In this work,we propose a system that the uniformly distributed cold atoms are driven into a three-level Lambda coherent atomic system by a strong coupling field and a weak probe field.In order to achieve the non-reciprocal reflection,the intensity of the coupling field is set to vary linearly with position to destroy the spatial symmetry of susceptibility.In addition,we further consider the modulation of the non-reciprocal reflection in the probe field by spontaneously generated coherence,as well as the influence of coupling field detuning on the non-reciprocal reflection.关键词
