老年帕金森病患者家庭照顾者核心照顾能力特征要素的质性研究
Characteristics of core caring competency of family caregivers of elderly patients with Parkinson's disease:a qualitative study
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics of core caring competency of family caregivers of elderly patients with Parkinson's disease(PD)in China,with the aim of providing reference for the construction of training program on caregiving competencies for family caregivers of elderly patients with PD.Methods With purposive sampling,fourteen elderly patients with PD and their family caregiv-ers and six neurology medical staff from a tertiary grade-A hospital in Shanxi were selected for semi-structured interviews.The data were analyzed and summarised using Colaizzi's seven-step analysis.Results The core caring competencies of family caregivers of elderly patients with PD can be categorized into six themes with sixteen sub-themes.The six themes included caring practice compe-tencies,comprehensive qualities,interpersonal coordination skills,emotional management skills,resource acquisition and use skills,attitudes to caring and personal qualities.Conclusion Family caregivers of elderly patients with PD need to possess a wide range of core caregiving competencies,with caregiving practice ability as the centre focus and other competencies working in coordination and developing synergistically.In the future,the development of core caregiving competencies of family caregivers of elderly people with PD should be strengthened to meet the diverse caregiving needs and deliver high-quality care.关键词
