The Implementation Pathways and Contemporary Implications of Mao Zedong's Construction of Cultural Leadership During the Yan'an Period

Abstract
During the Yan'an period,faced with cultural aggression from Japanese imperialism,cultural suppression by the Kuo-mintang reactionaries,and the spread of non-proletarian ideas within the Party,Mao Zedong,grounded in the realities of the Chinese revolution,integrated Marxist-Leninist theory on cultural leadership with China's specific practices.Through practical measures such as carrying out the Yan'an Rectification Movement,clarifying the direction of literary and artistic creation,strengthening cultural infra-structure,and promoting educational and propaganda outreach,he won the recognition and support of the entire nation,thereby estab-lishing the Communist Party of China's cultural leadership.Looking back at history provides insights for the future.As we advance the construction of a cultural powerhouse in the new era,drawing on the valuable experience of Mao Zedong's construction of cultural lead-ership during the Yan'an period holds significant implications for firmly upholding the Party's cultural leadership,building a social ide-ology with strong cohesive and guidance,promoting the all-round opening-up of cultural exchanges,deeply integrating culture with na-tional economic and social development,enhancing national spiritual strenght,and facilitating the transformation of the national ideo-logical landscape,innovating cultural communication methods to provide strong spiritual motivation and cultural support for advancing the country's modernization drive.关键词
