Advancements in measurement and modeling for 6G indoor short-range terahertz channels
摘要
Abstract
Terahertz communication(0.1-10 THz)is regarded as a key enabling technology for 6G and next-generation wireless networks.As indoor short-range communication is the major application scenario in 6G,research on indoor short-range terahertz channels is crucial for the development of fu-ture wireless communication systems.This paper comprehensively reviews the current research on in-door short-range terahertz channel measurement,modeling,and simulation.First,the existing studies on measurement and modeling for indoor short-range terahertz channels are examined from four as-pects:application scenarios,key frequency bands,measurement methods,and channel characteris-tics.Second,the advantages and disadvantages of deterministic modeling,statistical modeling and hy-brid modeling are compared,along with an analysis of the applicability of ray tracing methods.Fi-nally,the challenges and future prospects in terahertz channel measurement,modeling and simulation are outlined.关键词
