药用植物辐射诱变育种研究进展
Advances in Irradiation-Induced Mutagenesis Breeding of Medicinal Plants

Abstract
Traditional breeding of Chinese and Mongolian medicinal herbs often faces challenges such as prolonged breeding cycles,insufficient stress resistance,and slow improvement in yield and quality.To address these issues,it is necessary to explore more efficient new technologies and strategies.Irradiation mutation breeding technology is an im-portant method that uses various radiation methods such as 60Co-γ rays,heavy ion beams,X-rays,lasers and neutrons to treat germplasm resources of Chinese and Mongolian medicinal materials.It can obtain mutant individuals with excel-lent traits in a short period of time,thereby significantly shortening the breeding cycle and improving breeding effi-ciency.This method not only helps improve the stress resistance of Chinese and Mongolian medicinal crops,but also promotes the accumulation of certain medicinal components,and has high economic and scientific research value.Based on existing research findings,this paper systematically reviews the principles,mechanisms of action,and current appli-cations of five major types of irradiation mutagenesis technologies in the production of Chinese and Mongolian medici-nal materials.It also discusses the safety and future development trends of these technologies in conjunction with litera-ture.The study suggests that irradiation-induced mutagenesis has significant potential in promoting high-quality and ef-ficient breeding and variety innovation of Chinese and Mongolian medicinal herbs,and can contribute to the subsequent industrial upgrading and resource development of the Chinese and Mongolian medicinal herb industry.关键词
