Research progress in water-saving irrigation technologies and equipment for protected cultivation

Abstract
The coexistence of agricultural water shortage and low utilization efficiency is identified in China.Considerable progress is achieved in the development of water-saving irrigation in the field of protected cultivation,the overall transformation from semi-automatic to fully intelligent systems is still confronted with bottlenecks.To address this problem,the characteristics of drip irrigation,sprinkler irrigation,subsurface irrigation and other technologies,as well as their water-fertilizer synergistic mechanisms,were systematically sorted out,and the development status of key equipment including filtration,fertilization,monitoring and irrigation devices was analyzed.It was indicated by the research that the core constraints on development were the low degree of technology integration,insufficient equipment reliability and disconnection from user demands.In the future,agronomic and engineering technologies should be integrated,breakthroughs should be made in intelligent algorithms and long-term reliability,and a standardized and simplified equipment system and service ecosystem should be established,so that the advancement of protected irrigation toward precise coordination and autonomous decision-making could be promoted.关键词
