Abstract

As a key component of the transmission system in agricultural machinery,the rationality of drive belt design was directly associated with the NVH performance and transmission efficiency of the entire vehicle.During the development of a certain silage machinery,vehicle resonance problems caused by improper belt design were encountered.To solve this problem,systematic research on cause diagnosis and solution verification was carried out through vehicle vibration tests and belt frequency tests.Analysis revealed that the root cause of resonance was the coupling between the rotational frequency range(30.0~35.8 Hz)of the six-cylinder engine and the natural frequency(34~35 Hz)of the left section of the fan belt,and the vibration source was mainly concentrated in the spring system composed of the fan tensioner.A key research finding was that the system was prone to resonance when the ratio of the belt's static frequency to its dynamic frequency was in the range of 1.51~1.59.To address this issue,an optimization scheme was proposed,which realized segmental frequency adjustment by modifying the tensioner position and introducing belt frequency calculation in the initial design stage.After verification,the risky frequency band was successfully shifted to the safe range of 40~45 Hz,and effective"frequency avoidance"design was achieved.This not only solved the specific engineering problem but also provided a methodological reference with frequency ratio as the core guiding criterion for the dynamic design and matching of transmission systems in similar machinery.
