早期针灸干预对脑梗死合并糖尿病患者吞咽障碍和肺部感染的影响
Early acupuncture intervention for dysphagia and pulmonary infection in patients with cerebral infarction and diabetes mellitus

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of early acupuncture intervention on dysphagia and pulmonary infection in patients with cerebral infarction and diabetes mellitus.Methods:Ninety patients with cerebral infarction and diabetes mellitus hospitalized at Wuhu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2022 to August 2023 were randomly di-vided into control group(n=45,receiving conventional treatment plus Xingnao Zhitan Capsules)and observation group(n=45,receiving additional early acupuncture initiation within 48 hours of admission using awakening brain and opening orifices acupuncture technique).Both groups received 3 weeks of treatment with 90-day follow-up.Outcome measures in-cluded NIH Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores,modified Rankin Scale(mRS)scores,TCM syndrome scores,Kubota water swal-lowing test scores,and incidence of pulmonary infection.Results:After treatment,both groups showed significant reductions in all scores compared to baseline(P<0.05,P<0.01),with greater improvements in the observation group(P<0.05).The to-tal effective rate was significantly higher in the observation group(93.33%vs 77.78%,P<0.05).The incidence of pulmonary infection was significantly lower in the observation group(4.44%vs 17.78%,P<0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in ei-ther group.Conclusion:Early acupuncture initiation within 48 hours of admission can improve swallowing function,reduce pulmonary infections,decrease post-stroke disability,and enhance quality of life in patients with cerebral infarction and dia-betes mellitus.关键词
