七厘散巴布膏治疗急性踝关节扭伤的临床疗效观察
Clinical study of Qili San Cataplasm in treating acute ankle sprain

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Qili San Cataplasm(Seven-Li Powder Cataplasm)in treating acute ankle sprain.Methods:Seventy-two patients with acute ankle sprain diagnosed between September 2021 and De-cember 2022 were randomly divided into experimental group(n=36,treated with Qili San Cataplasm once daily)and con-trol group(n=36,treated with topical Qili San once daily).Both groups received 7-day continuous treatment.Assessments at baseline,day 1,3,and 7 included local pain VAS score,tenderness,swelling,ecchymosis,functional activity,and ad-verse reactions.Results:Both groups showed significant improvements in VAS scores,tenderness,swelling,and functional scores at all post-treatment timepoints compared with baseline(P<0.05),with swelling improvement rates increasing over time.The experimental group demonstrated superior VAS scores at all timepoints,better tenderness and swelling scores at day 1 and 3,and improved swelling rates and functional scores at day 3 and 7 compared to controls(P<0.05).No significant in-tergroup differences were observed in ecchymosis scores(P>0.05).One case of mild skin allergy occurred in the control group,with no adverse events in the experimental group,showing no significant difference in adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both formulations of Qili San are effective for acute ankle sprain,but the cataplasm demonstrates superior pain relief and better long-term efficacy in reducing swelling and functional impairment.关键词
