Integration and application of CCUS technology in Zhaotong National Shale Gas Demonstration Zone

Abstract
Objective The integration and application of carbon dioxide capture,utilization and storage(CCUS)technology serve as a pivotal approach for enhancing development efficiency and environmental benefits in the Zhaotong National Shale Gas Demonstration Zone(hereinafter referred to as Zhaotong Demonstration Zone).Clarifying the current engineering application status of CCUS technology in shale gas development and exploring potential directions for future technological breakthroughs hold significant importance.Method Based on literature research and engineering practices in the Zhaotong Demonstration Zone,a systematic analysis was conducted on the technical characteristics and integration methods of core components within CCUS technology,including CO2 displacement modes,optimized pipeline network layouts,intelligent monitoring systems,and injection tools.Result The porosity prediction error was reduced to±1.5%,and the permeability prediction error was narrowed to±0.03×10−3 μm2.The CO2 displacement radius was expanded from 30 m to 60 m,resulting in 25%increase in recovery rate.The leakage localization accuracy of±5 m was achieved.Conclusion The existing CCUS technology integration scheme has significantly improved shale gas development efficiency and CO2 storage levels in the Zhaotong Demonstration Zone,providing practical exploration for the green technology integration of China's shale gas industry.关键词
