Research on Effectiveness of Train Group Operation in Enhancing Line Capacity of CHN Energy's Heavy-Haul Railway Lines

Abstract
CHN Energy is currently promoting the implementation of the heavy-haul train group operation control system.The study of the effect of train group operation on the enhancement of line capacity of heavy-haul railways is of great significance in scientifically evaluating the economic and social benefits of the train group operation system.This paper commenced with an overview of the heavy-haul railway network of CHN Energy.It then undertook an analysis of the train tracking process and the calculation method of the line capacity of heavy-haul railways under train group operation.The paper calculated the capacity of each line of the heavy-haul railway network of CHN Energy under train group operation and analyzed the effect of the capacity enhancement.The results demonstrate that train group operation can effectively alleviate the problem of strained heavy-haul railway capacity of CHN Energy.Based on the calculation results,a proposal for the optimization of the line capacity of CHN Energy was put forward,which provides a reference for the optimization and development of the heavy-haul railway transportation organization in China.关键词
